Development Construction
Palisade Building Group provides full-service construction for new developments — from large-scale, master-planned communities to infill projects. Partnering with our sister development company, Palisade Partners, we deliver an integrated approach that covers every stage of the process — from land acquisition, entitlements and design to permitting, construction, and sales.
Our construction team oversees all aspects of project delivery — including design coordination, budgeting, bidding, subcontractor and supplier procurement, permitting, and field management — ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency across every development. Our expertise spans both infrastructure and vertical construction, allowing us to manage projects from the ground up. On the horizontal side, we handle all infrastructure construction including roads, water and sewer systems, drainage and shallow utilities. On the vertical side, we oversee the construction of a variety of product types — from single-family homes to duplexes and multifamily buildings — ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and timely delivery. In addition, we design and build community amenities such as parks, clubhouses, trail networks and other shared spaces that enhance the overall neighborhood experience.
Rounding out our integrated approach, our in-house sales and marketing team manages advertising, home sales, and closings, providing a seamless experience from concept to completion. Together we create authentic communities where people, place and vision thoughtfully come together.

Meet Paul, the visionary founder of Palisade Partners and Palisade Building Group, who seized opportunity amid the 2009 Great Recession. With his contrarian investment philosophy guiding the way, he was able to navigate the real estate landscape to build what Palisade is today. He began with the acquisition and revitalization of existing multifamily properties and quickly moved onto new construction developments throughout Denver and the breathtaking Colorado mountains. However, Paul’s success isn’t just about bricks and mortar — it’s about people. At Palisade, he’s cultivated an amazing team driven by a shared passion for community-building and a commitment to excellence.
In total, Palisade and its partners have invested over $500 million, leaving an unmistakable mark on Colorado’s communities, with an additional $400 million of projects on the horizon.
With Paul stands his wife, Lacey, and their three daughters, a family deeply ingrained in the communities where their impact is most profoundly felt.
Prior to founding Palisade Building Group, Paul’s academic journey laid the groundwork for his success, earning a Master of Science in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business. Earlier to that, he honed his skills with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics with a Finance Sequence from Claremont McKenna College.

Paul joined Palisade Partners in 2016 and brings 38 years of experience in the ski resort and construction industries. Prior to joining Palisade Partners, he worked with Keystone, the Vail Development Company, and in the custom home market in Summit County.
Originally from Minnesota, Paul left the cold, gray winters behind in 1987 for the snowy—but sunnier—winters of Summit County. Like many, he came for the winters and stayed for the summers.
Throughout his time in Summit County, Paul has been an active volunteer in the community. He has contributed to organizations such as the Summit County Optimist Club, served as a 4-H leader in archery and shooting sports, supported the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and the Summit Foundation’s Careers in Construction program, and participated in the local Builders Association. He has also coached just about every youth sport available.
Paul met his wife, Liz, while working at Keystone. Together, they raised their two boys in Summit County, introducing them to the many outdoor activities the family enjoys — skiing, biking, golfing, water skiing, hunting, fishing, and just about anything else the Colorado mountains have to offer.
Prior to working at Palisade Building Group, Lynda worked 22 years in the Ski Industry. She then moved to a software company working as an implementation specialist that allowed her to travel all over the world. Lynda raised three boys with her husband in Summit County. She enjoys hiking, skiing and traveling throughout the US and internationally.
Morgan graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies, a minor in Business Administration. She has been a Colorado-licensed real estate broker since 2021. When not working, you can find Morgan downhill skiing, mountain biking, and cross country skiing with her dog Pumpkin.
Prior to joining Palisade, Eric managed several retail operations and even had his own business building decorative stone retaining walls.
Eric spent many spring breaks in Summit County skiing and riding, and it quickly became a dream of his to live here and compete in freestyle snowboarding. After a semester and a half at St. Louis Community College, he decided to follow that dream and make the move. Today you can find him fishing, backpacking, downhill biking, snowmobiling, dirt biking, off-roading, camping — really anything that gets him outdoors.
When not working, Cheque loves skiing, hiking, bike riding and spending time with his family and friends. He also loves a good NatGeo documentary or Netflix series.
